Last week my daughter and I went out for sushi and a fortune cookie landed my direction with the best line: “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” That statement hit me smack upside the head! It literally covers my personal struggles, my joys, my endeavors, my successes, all of it there in one little sentence! What a great reminder about the happiness and contentment we can experience when we give of our gifts…
But are we living our best lives? What about knowing what your gifts are? And once you know what your gifts are, how do you put them out there to work for yourself and for the benefit of the world around you? You walk your walk. You exercise self-care. You offer what you’re capable of in that moment. You work your process for the day you’re dealt. And when you face plant? You stand up, wipe off the dirt, and work your process once again.
“You’re gonna be happy, said life; But first, I’ll make you strong.”

I am also an ACE Certified Trainer and an AFAA Group Fitness Instructor. Through the use of these modalities, I have helped hundreds of people to overcome health concerns and live happy, vibrant lives.
While attending Belmont University to study Exercise Science, I explored figure/body-building and taught Spin, Step and Weight Training classes at a local YMCA. Those things quickly morphed into a love for Personal Training.
